The scheduled meeting of the Sherwood Lakes Homeowners Association was convened on the 15th of August, two thousand twenty-three. The meeting was led by Mr. Brown, with a quorum of homeowners in attendance.
Following call to order, the transcripts from the previous meeting were reviewed and accepted with a few amendments.
- Mr. Davis, gave a brief financial report outlining the current state of the homeowner association's funds.
- A number of homeowners raised issues regarding upcoming developments in the neighborhood, including the proposed playground construction and parking regulations.
- President Smith addressed the homeowner's concerns, providing information about the projects.
Following the conversation, the meeting was adjourned. The next HOA meeting is scheduled for October , 2023.

Suggested Amendments to Sherwood Lakes Covenants
The Homeowners Association is at this time examining several proposed amendments to the existing covenants for Sherwood Lakes. These proposed modifications are designed to enhance the quality of life for all residents while tackling ongoing concerns and facilitating a thriving community.
- Amongst the proposed amendments are standards related to landscaping, quiet hours, and parking regulations.
- The HOA encourages all residents to peruse the proposed amendments thoroughly and forward their suggestions by the deadline.
- An open forum will be arranged on August 3rd to address the proposed amendments in more depth.

Sherwood Lakes Community Beautification Project
Our passionate community members are coming together to make Sherwood Lakes a more vibrant place to live. The Beautification Project aims to improve the visual appeal of our community by planting shrubs, cleaning up public zones, and encouraging a sense of ownership.

Sherwood Lakes HOA Board Election Updates
Greetings residents of Sherwood Lakes! The annual election for the Homeowner’s Association (HOA) board is happening soon. This year, we encourage all homeowners to take part in shaping the future of our community by casting their vote.
The election will be held on Wednesday, October 25th, with voting taking place from noon to 8:00 PM at the Sherwood Lakes Community Center.
A list of the running candidates and their platforms will be made available on the HOA website and distributed via email/sent to residents in a packet by October 1st. For any questions or concerns regarding the election process, please contact the HOA board directly. We look forward to a successful and inclusive election!
Community Security Project for Sherwood Lakes Residents
Enhance the safety and security of our welcoming community with a dedicated Neighborhood Watch program. Through collaboratively participating, residents can help deter crime, look out one another's properties, and foster a safer sense of community. Meetings will be held consistently to discuss.
